Quantify your goals

tip

Goals will depend upon your show objectives. Keep goals straightforward, easy to measure and realistic to achieve. Here's an example of typical lead generation target:

  • Estimate the number of leads per hour staff can realistically generate:
    • 4 leads per person per hour
  • Multiply leads per hour by the number of hours in the event and then multiply by the number of booth staff:
    • 4 leads x 6 hours/day x 5 booth staff = 160 leads as the daily team target
  • Multiply the daily target by the number of event days to estimate an overall lead target:
    • 160 leads x 3 day event = 480 leads for the event

To achieve your lead goal, encourage your booth staff to exceed targets by offering incentives to reward individual or team efforts for achieving the highest number of leads.

greenWe're ahead of the “green” curve

The “Green Movement” has gained a new meaning and evolved to a crusade for environmentalism, conservation and sustainability. And “going green” has taken on various definitions but for manufacturing, it simply means utilizing recycled materials, building recyclable products, and using environmentally friendly practices in production.

And given the growing trend in embracing “green” initiatives, Nomadic is proud to say that for more than 30 years, we have been ahead of the curve.

We use biodegradable cardboard made from recycled materials for packaging. And Nomadic's core products are one hundred percent recyclable -- from the aluminum frames to rotationally molded, wheeled cases. In fact, we mold the universal recyclable symbol into our Rolluxe cases. We also recycle all of our aluminum scrap materials because recycled aluminum may be used for any product for which new aluminum is used and its better for the environment than mining it from ore.

So the next time you go “green”, go with Nomadic!

Putting Dannon's healthy brand in a better light

There's no better way to communicate Dannon's Light & Fit™ brand than with a lightweight and portable modular display from Nomadic. This is what The Dannon Company realized when they participated at the 2007 National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago last May.

To prepare for the largest food service event in North America, Dannon worked with New York-based Creative Display Solutions to promote the company's best-selling yogurt products.

Since they didn't want to deviate from the customized presentation they are used to, Dannon opted for a design that can deliver the "custom look" they are aiming for without the "custom exhibit" costs. They chose a 10' x 30' DesignLine™ display that features high-impact tension fabric graphics, distinctive product shelves, laminate fins and bi-level countertops. The Dannon display can be reconfigured into two smaller units — a 10' x 10' and 10' x 20'.

Dannon was very pleased with their new DesignLine™ display. "We love our DesignLine™ unit. It's really lightweight and easy to ship. It's definitely more cost-effective than a custom display," says Denise Gabettie, Dannon's Sales Operations Associate.

The exhibit has also been featured at two other shows this year--the National Association of College & University Food Services' 49th Conference (July 11-14) in Seattle and the 2007 Annual SUBWAY® Convention (August 2-4) at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
